Poll: YES on Proposition 8 Now Leading 47% to 42%

Uh-oh! A poll has come out that, for the first time, shows that the heterosexual supremacists who are pushing Proposition 8 have a chance of amending the California constitution to ban marriages between same-sex couples. A SurveyUSA poll for some local TV stations in California shows the YES vote at 47% and NO vote at 42%, with most of the change from previous polls coming from young voters. The poll was conducted October 4 and 5 among 670 likely voters and has a margin of error plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.

The internals of the poll are available in pdf form.

Interestingly, the poll has 55% of men voting YES (35% No) with women voting 41% Yes and 49% No. Young people aged 18-34 vote in favor of Proposition 8 53% to 38%!

Among racial groups, African Americans made up 7% of the sample and support Proposition 8 52% Yes, 34% No, 14% Undecided. Latinos made up 19% of the sample and oppose Proposition 8 44% Yes, 45% No, 11% Undecided. Asian and Pacific Islanders made up 12% of the sample and they support Proposition 8 50% Yes, 36% No, 14% Undecided. Whites made up 62% of the sample and support Proposition 8 47% Yes, 44% No, 9% Undecided.

What is with you guys. You setup that killing in Boston with How-To-Suduce Young Boys on the NAMBLA website then you folks passivly setup the Ventura gay murder by having your allies in the schools ignore the straight student trying to get the funny-boy student off his case. This negligence by your gay friends in the Oxnard school district. But once you folks get the power you are not tolerant:
a. Vermont hitch-hiker "I was kicked out of SF by gays"
b. Black engineer from Detriot "they took my girl friend"
c. Ralphs in Old Town Pasadena - homeless couple should not kiss per 2 gay men
.....
And you know better. If you do not back off someone like a Bin Laden or the president Iran will force the issue noting the US is at it's weaks point in many decades.
