Devin Brown Recreation Indicates LAPD Wrong Again

The LAPD's story falls apart again. Last time it was about who shot 19-month Suzie Pena, SWAT or her deranged, drugged-out father. Answer: SWAT. This time it is regarding the story that 13-year Devin Brown was driving towards Officer Garcia when the policeman shot ten times into the car the teenager was driving at 3:30am Saturday night February 6. Happily, it was the LAPD itself which revealed the results of a re-enactment which showed that it is unlikely the car was actually moving towards Officer Garcia when he unloaded his weapon into the moving vehicle.

My point here is not to say that the LAPD is always wrong, but to highlight that in controversial wrongful deaths, truth is often another casualty.
