Czech PM Claims He Has Votes To Override Partnership Veto

Prime Minister Jiri Paroubek says that he is "optimistic" that he has the votes to override the veto by President Vaclav Klaus of legislation that would have established civil partnerships for same-sex couples in the Czech Republic.

UPDATE: The override vote has apparently been scheduled for next week, according to 365gay.com.
