Stay tuned as I intend to sample several of these on the list: #17, #15, #7 and #21 look especially promising.
I've eaten in many of them and my criteria for choosing restaurants is more about the quality of the food than anything else. I just want to mention that #24, Jitlada, is fantastic. It's the only Thai restaurant I eat in in Los Angeles. And to put that in context, I'm getting ready for my 12th trip to Thailand and wrote a little guide to the best restaurants in Bangkok. Jitlada is the real deal. Order the som tom (green papaya salad), which isn't on the menu.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of Jitlada -- the only restaurant on the entire list that is near where I live -- so I am sure that I will try it. However, I like Yai, Vim and Ocha very much. I wish that there was an Indian DINNER buffet somewhere nearby in Los Angeles. Why must I travel to San Francisco for that? http://indiapalacesf.com/india_palace_buffet.htm
