Nobody Beats Andy Roddick 12 Times In A Row

Andy Roddick defeated World #1 Roger Federer 7-6(4), 4-6, 6-3 to get to the semifinals of the Sony Ericsson Open on Thursday.

Earlier, Serena Williams beat Svetlana Kuznetsova 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 to make the Saturday final against Jelena Jankovic (who beat Vera Zvonareva 6-1, 6-4).

  1. Sveta's usual nerves kicked in and yet another failed tournament.
Roddick played very well, yet Roger appeared listless, sluggish, etc. There is something still wrong with him, be it lack of motivation, mono, or something the world needs to understand. Roddick won it with his serve, with many clocked in at 140 or higher.
