  1. Thriller, epic, dull as dishwater for me, and, I stopped watching in the 4th set when Roger tried a pretty shot when he was up 4-3 and could have got the break. The one thing I am waiting to see is if the other guys step up, Roger had something special in his game and style of play. Nadal only bashes the ball forth from the baseline waiting for an error, yes, the new style of play, but quite boring to this fan, who seldom even watches him in a match.

The bigger question for me, is this the end of Roger and winning majors??? I hope not, and, if its is, I hope Djokovic can get his head out of his bum and start winning and BEATING Nadal. I know, I must be the only tennis fan who just cannot stomach that guy on any level.

  2. Well, I turned it off during the second set after it appeared that Roger had squared the match at one set apiece, yet obviously came to understand that he lost that set, and ultimately the match during that set that he just blew! Eventually saw the 5th set though!
Federer can improve, as in his serve, his serve/volley game, and definitely his backhand, even though all are good enough, yet not as good as he needs them to be when playing a Nadal. Maybe playing doubles with Wawrinka could provide some different perspectives on the game.
Fed's been coasting on his skills, and now that Nadal has caught him, well....
I am no Nadal fan either, yet do admire him for taking his game to another level.
