Barack Obama raised $104 million dollars in the homestretch of the 2008 presidential election season, bringing
his overall total to over $750 million for his 22-month presidential campaign. In 2004 Senatir John Kerry and President George W. Bush raised a combined total of $693 million.
AND I WAS ONE OF THOSE THAT DONATED. TWICE. IT WASN'T A LOT OF MONEY BUT IT WAS WHAT I HAD AT THE TIME. THAT'S ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MADE HIM SO SPECIAL TO ME WAS THAT HE WASN'T TAKING MONEY FROM 'SPECIAL INTERESTS' GROUPS AND RELIED ON THE AVERAGE AMERICANS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. AND IT DID! AND WITH THE ECONOMY IN A RECESSION, CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW MUCH HE CAN RAISE NEXT ELECTION? I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS . FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE BILL CLINTON, I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT FOUR YEARS BECAUSE IT WAS CHANGE WE CAN AND DO BELIEVE IN! MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!
