Venus Williams defeated World #1 Serena Williams in the semifinals of the Dubai Open in a high quality 3-set match 6-1, 2-6, 7-6(3). The win gives Venus the lead 10-9 in the head-to-head match between the sisters. She will play the final against Virginie Razzano, who beat Kaia Kanepi.
While I always cheer for Serena no matter who she plays, this should venus a title in the final, so, good news.
