FRENCH OPEN 2009: Federer Wins 14th Major
Roger Federer won the French Open on Sunday, winning his 14th major title, completing the career grand slam by defeating Robin Soderling 6-1 7-6(1) 6-4.
Well, either Soderling ran out of gas, or the aura of Raja did him in, or Federer stepped it up a notch - to me, probably contributions from all areas. At least now we won't have to hear the discussion regarding Raja and the FO. Now reclaiming the Wimby crown - Nadal's injury/or not may have a bearing on that issue, and it is too early to know. Happy for Mirka and Roger - now they name the child Robin!!!
