2012 CINCY: Li Na Faces Kerber in Final

Li Na will face Angelique Kerber in the final of Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati today. Li got here by beating an injured Venus Williams 7-5 3-6 6-1 while Kerber beat the always erratic Petra Kvitova 6-1 2-6 6-4. Kerber has only lost one of her last nineteen 3 set matches and is coming off the biggest win of her career on Friday when the German lefty dispatched 14-time major champion Serena Williams 6-4 6-4.

Li leads Kerber 4-1 and even though she has not won a title all year long she has reached three finals, including last week at the Rogers Cup in Montreal where she lost to Kvitova in 3 sets.
