Godless Wednesday: Marriage Created By Who?

In today's example of theocracy at work, take a look at the first advertisement from the heterosexual supremacists at Minnesotans for Marriage, shown above. One of the first statements made in the ad is "Marriage is more than a loving commitment between two loving people, it was made by God."

Really? Getting a civil marriage licence from a state or county agency has something to do with religion? In the fevered imagination of who, exactly?

What happens to people who don't believe in (your) God, do they get to get married too?
