Poll Confirms Majority of Latinos Support Marriage Equality

The Pew Hispanic Center has a new poll which confirms the rapid increase in popular support for marriage equality among Latinos in the United States. Previous polls had shown support increase from 31% in 2006 to 34% in 2009 and at 52% now in 2012. This is the second recent poll to indicate that a majority of marriage equality of Latinos support marriage equality, with an NBC poll published on October 2nd claiming that 60% support marriage equality with 48% strong supporting it and only 38% opposing it.

In some sense this should not be a surprise since a majority of Americans support marriage equality, but it is good to see that there is majority support in the largest ethnic group in America as well.
