Djokovic-Nadal XXXVI: Nadal Wins, Will Face Raonic

Rafael Nadal edged 2-time defending champion Novak Djokovic in the semifinals of the Rogers Cup 6-4 3-6 7-6(2). Nadal is unbeaten in hard courts in 2013, having won Indian Wells earlier this year. He will face Canadian Milos Raonic in the final of the ATP Canadian Masters tournament, his 36 ATP Masters final, and hope to extend his record total of ATP Masters titles to 25 on Sunday.

Nadal extended his head-to-head advantage over his Serbian rival to 21-15, and ended a streak of 5 hard court losses. After playing in 11 straight finals, the two have now played in two semifinals this year and Nadal has won both times.
