U.S. Senate Confirms 10th Openly LGBT Federal Judge Under Obama, Robert Pittman of Texas

Robert L. Pittman of Texas has become the first openly gay federal judge in Texas and the 10th openly LGBT member of the federal judiciary nominated by President Barack Obama thanks to actions the Senate took before adjourning yesterday.
