Maryland Highest Court Agrees To Decide Marriage Equality
The day after the Washington State Supreme Court punted on the question of whether bans on same sex marriage are unconstitutional, the Maryland Court of Appeals agreed to hear oral arguments in December in the case Deane v. Conaway. In addition, New Jersey's highest court has a marriage case Lewis v. Harris currently pending and of course there are numerous ways (judicially, legislatively or popularly) marriage equality can be achieved in California.
