World #8 Venus Williams defeated Maria Kirilenko 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 to win her 36th career title at the Tier IV Hansol Korea Open in Seoul on Sunday. Starting Monday, Venus is blogging from Tokyo, while she plays the Tier III AIG Japan Open Tennis Championships. Almost the entire rest of the World's Top 10 players, including her sister Serena Williams, are playing at the Tier II Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany this week, except for Maria Sharapova, who is injured. Earlier in the year, Venus won her 4th Wimbledon title, her 6th major title of her career.
