The Writer Guild Awards were announced the same day the word started to spread about the writers' strike coming to an end.Yesterday The Wire won the WGA Award for Best TV Drama Series (beating out fellow HBO show The Sopranos) while No Country for Old Men and Juno won WGA Awards for Adapted Screenplay and Original Screenplay.
