Clijsters Beats Henin In Thriller Forcing Her Withdrawal
Kim Clijsters saved two match points against her countrywoman, 7-time grand-slam champion Justine Henin, to win the Brisbane International title 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (6). The defending US Open champion showed that she could win a very tight, hard-fought match against an opponent who had bested her many times in major finals. Henin immediately withdrew from next week's tournament in Sydney.
