9 Weeks Until Election: Obama 274, Romney 191

There are now exactly two months until election day, which turns out to be 63 days or 9 weeks away. In this week's Scoreboard, Obama-Biden has 274 electoral votes compared to 191 electoral votes for Romney-Ryan. This is a change from last week's total of 258 for the Democratic ticket and 161 for the Republican ticket.

The main explanation for the change is Michigan (16) moving from Undecided to Leans Democrat, thus giving President Obama more than the 270 electoral votes needed for re-election.
