As I blogged about last week, the House of Representatives of the great state of Delaware has voted on a marriage equality bill today,
passing the measure 23-18. It now goes to the Senate, where it is also expected to pass.
A clear majority of Delaware resident support marriage equality and the Governor or the State has said he will happily sign it into law.
Congratulations to Delaware! (In other news, it looks like
the Rhode Island Senate will also vote on their pending marriage equality bill. We're still waiting for a vote in the Illinois House on their marriage equality bill,
after the Senate passed the measure more than two months ago.
