Dana Perino is most well known as the White House Press Secretary in the second Bush administration and is now a "blonde talking head" on Fox News. Recently, Perino made headlines when she revealed her virulently bigoted beliefs about non-believers: that atheists are un-American and should leave the country if they don't like the fact that the vast majority of politicians support legislative actions which undermine the separation of Church and State.
"I’m tired of them. I remember working at the Justice Department years ago when I first started right after 9/11 and a lawsuit like this came through, and before the day had finished, the United States Senate and the House of Representatives had both passed resolutions saying that they were for keeping ‘under God’ in the pledge. If these people really don’t like it, they don’t have to live here. If you don’t believe then why do you care?"I guess freedom of religion only applies to "certain people"? As a thought experiment, what other group of people do you think television personalities would feel comfortable enough to declare that "they don't have to live here."
