2019 OSCARS: The Nominations


And they're off! The nominations for the 91st Academic Awards, i.e. the Oscars, have been annonced.
The nominations in the top 8 categories are given below. For Best Picture I have currently seen 4 of the 9 nominees (indicated in bold), and definitely intend to see "The Favourite" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" before the ceremonies. I don't even want to hate-watch "Green Book." "Vice" is a strong possibility too.

2016 EMMYS: Comparing The Winners To My Predictions


I predicted the winners of the top categories at this past weekend's Emmy awards. I was correct in four of the six categories. However, in the two categories I missed, the actors I wanted to win Rami Malek of Mr. Robot and Tatiana Maslany of Orphan Black won, which was awesome!

The 68th Annual Primetime Emmy awards are being held this weekend. Here are the most prominent nominations and my predictions for who will win. Last year, Veep won Best Comedy Series and Game of Thrones won Best Drama Series. The HBO series leads this year's Emmy nominations with 23.
