Queer Quote: Tilda Swinton Shows Support For LGBT Rights in Russia

Tilda  Swinton, Oscar-winning actress (for Michael Clayton), showed support for LGBT equality while in Moscow today by appearing with a rainbow flag near the Kremlin. Just this week, President Vladimir Putin signed into law a measure which basically puts the state's seal of approval on official homophobia in Russia.
