The special election in my Assembly District was held yesterday and the results are in:
Wendy Carrillo,
received approximately 1000 votes more than
Luis Lopez in a very low turnout election (estimated to be 7.6%). Carrillo took an early large lead when absentee ballots were tallied.
This means that Carrillo will be
the newest member of the Assembly.
