Elena Kagan, President Obama's nominee to the United States Supreme Court to replace retiring John Paul Stevens is my choice for today's Celebrity Friday.Kagan is a 50-year-old, never-married New Yorker who attended Princeton University, Harvard Law School and clerked for Justice Thurgood Marshall. She was the first female Dean of Harvard Law School from 2003-2009 and became the first female Solicitor General of the United States last year.
