A reader writes in to alert me that I am on page 35 of the latest Frontiers magazine in one of those embarassing "look at these people mugging for the camera" photos. The event was the Los Angeles Equality Awards of Equality California (where I used to be a member of the board of directors, from 2002 to 2004).Anyway, I think Equality California is a fantastic organization, which has achieved some amazing legislative achievements in the last few years. Let's hope the Governor decides to not stand in the way of progress and sign more of these bills into law instead of vetoing them.
