2012 FRENCH OPEN: Men's Final Suspended!!

With 6-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal leading 2 sets to 1 but down a break in the 4th set against Novak Djokovic 6-4 6-3 2-6 1-2 in the Roland Garros men's singles championship match play was suspended due to rain a little after 8pm on Day 15. The match will resume at 7am EDT 94am PDT) on NBC Sports Network.

Djokovic started badly (falling behind 3-0) in the first set but battled back to tie the 1st set at 3-all when he got broken in the 7th game and lost the 1st set when  Nadal was able to serve out the set to win 6-4. The second set was very similar to the first with Nadal breaking in Djokovic's very first service game, with Djokovic breaking back but then again losing the 7th game on his serve and lost the second set 6-3. The third set started with a break and a hold when suddenly with Nadal leading 2 sets and a break up Djokovic started serving much better (he was under 50% for the match but over 75% for the 3rd set) and won an astonishing 8 games in a row, taking the third set and leading by a break in the 4th. Nadal wanted to suspend play due to the incessant drizzle falling but was able to hold serve and then play was suspended at 1-2 in the 4th set.

I still stand by my prediction that Nadal will win the match, but  I think it will most likely be a 5th set (where there is no tiebreaker!)
