Michael Jackson suffered cardiac arrest on Thursday and died suddenly in Los Angeles. The Pop Icon was 50 years old and is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.

Was at the UCLA dental school and heard the announcement at about 2:15 when my appointment began. Truly a devastated staff and roster of patients.
When I left to catch the bus back to Sherman Oaks, there were 4 satellite uplinks, a bevy of news trucks, and a swarm of people, one block from my bus stop at Westwood & Le Conte.
Truly a sad day for all of his fans, which means nearly the entire world, at least over the age of 10!
