The political season heats up as the election gets closer and closer so it seemed like it would be a good time to address the false notion that "United States is a Christian country." The people who promote this idea generally try to use the words of Founding Fathers to suggest that these white male property owners were also Christian, but as you can see from the quotes in the graphic above, the evidence to support that idea is definitely contestable.
I'm glad that we live in a country which is not founded or based on any religious tradition, aren't you? Hopefully that thought will warm your heart during today's Godless Wednesday.
